Good for the money but disappointing rear view

Mirror fits my 1990 F350 Custom very well. The bracket is very heavy duty. I had to bend it slightly in place to get the bottom bracket to align, but this is to be expected. It bent very easily - more of a tweak actually. The cover for the mirror part installs very good with a 1/2" socket and the small philips screws tighten the ball adjustment easily and seem adequate. With all of this I would give this product a 5. However, the mirror itself is not glass and maybe these days it cannot be. Yet, it is not even the best quality "plastic" and does not give a very true reflection. It is not a bad view but not a great view. Now, in competitive pricing, I feel I got my money's worth and it is better than a 1/2 broken old mirror which this one replaced. I bought the set and since my driver's side mirror is in good shape, I will not be using the second mirror but will keep it as a spare. Now that I have the old mirror housing replaced I may find a place that will replace the glass. Would I re

I have an 97 F-250 (old body style) i put these mirrors on. they required a little bending to get to fit (about 2") but other than that they bolted up just fine. i gave them 2 stars because the pivot point on the mirrors moves super easy, the wend from driving down the high way moves them. they also shake a lot. i have tried every way to move them and tighten them with no luck. i like the brackets but the mirrors them self are not worth it. im going to try and see if i an find some better ones i can bolt into the brackets. On a plus side the shipping was fast and very well packaged!

I broke a mirror at the carwash so I ordered a set of these. Very pleased with the chrome finish. The mounting bolts don't match the factory ones so I used the old ones. Overall, a very good value.

I like the looks of the mirrors in the truck verses the factory but they will NOT stay in place going down the road. I have tightened the 3 screws on the bottom to hope and tighten it up but it will not work. If the mirrors would stay in place I would be happy with them but not as of now.

The install was easy but had to make extra holes which I was not expecting. I was hoping the upper bracket would line up to the existing mirror but they didnt. After the install the driver side is great but the passenger side is the wrong mirror glass. Its magnified and I can hardly see much.

I most definitely would recommend these mirrors to anyone looking for a quality replacement mirror. The stainless steel finish is awesome and the price was almost as much as the local parts store single price and with 1a I got the pair!

The mirrors mounted up fine with the existing holes. I couldn't use the hardware that came with it, ended up getting some stainless steel screws to mount properly. It's nice to have the passenger side mirror hold the position at highway speeds. The disappointment come with some of the build quality. It wasn't a week (and it rained pretty much that whole week) before rust spots started to appear on the bolt for the lower pivot point. It's not a lot rust, but enough to notice.

Bought these for my fiance's truck. Not as heavy as factory. But they don't move like others stated in reviews. Didn't use brackets. Just used mirrors She's happy with them And I'm happy with price. I would recommend them.

I was missing a part to my mirror and it wouldnt sit right on the on the pivot and would but one was already done and on the truck. Customer service was great sending a whole new mirror assembly and I dont have to send back the previous defective one.

When I received the F150 mirrors I didn't realize that the brackets were mounted upside down and not usable because they are riveted upside down. I ended up taking off the mirrors and putting them on my old brackets. Was not happy with the purchase.

I ordered these mirrors because my old ones would not stay in place l. I was always having to adjust them. I like the way these look ..bit same problem they move in the wind and have to be re adjusted at every stop light. I will be lookong for another brand.

These mirrors were purchased for my 1996 Ford F350 install was very easy and the built of the product felt and looked great but when it came down to driving with these down the highway they would constanly move and became a safety hazard. I do not recommend anyone to buy these due the safety issue and I will be sending back to get my money back.

I have had great service with 1aauto, but it took nearly a month for these to get here and then they dont fit! If you have a1995 F250 the upper mount on the mirror is facing down and within the bracket of the mirror; these have the upper mount facing upward and on the outside of the mirror bracket. As a result the mounting holes on the mirror and vehicle do not line up. I ended up using my old brackets and the heads off of these to replace my mirrors. Not sure if this is s thing with just the 1995s but be sure to check your truck first.

These replacement mirrors were exactly what I needed. The stock mirrors on my 92 ranger were ridiculously small and shook when I drove making it impossible to see in them. These new mirrors are a nice size, not too bulky, but very sturdy and solid. I did have to drill extra holes in the door on the bottom mount on my 92, but it's a 30 year old truck. No big deal.

Seems to be a quality product and looks nice,the only problem I have is the bottom mounting bracket did not line up with the factory mounting holes,I had to drill 2 new holes about 1 1/2 lower Im going to be painting the truck in the near future and Ill have to weld up the holes and do the body work to fix the problem. Meanwhile I just put the factory bolts back in the original holes

They kinda suck. The fit was a little off but I made it work. But now when I drive down the road at speeds of 55 or greater the mirror just points down at the ground. The mirror doesnt even stay in position when I shut the door.

Shipping time was great. The mirrors would not fit my 1995 F350. The top mount is completely different than the factory one. The original bends down, the new one bends up. Not even a close fit.

Yes, but I've never been able to tighten the bolt holding the mirror to the arm enough to prevent the mirror from flopping downward when driving.

No, I had to remove the door panels. Its not too bad, once all fasteners are removed you bump it up from the bottom and it slides upward and off the door.
