My low overall rating is not a reflection on 1aauto. I did my research with their customer service as well as Arnott directly. I was assured that I would be happy with the conversion of My Z55 auto ride on my 2013 Avalanche. Unfortunately even though the product appeared to be high quality, my ride was inferior. I opted to remove and go back to the more expensive OEM struts in in order to achieve my comfortable ride again. As 1aauto states that they want their customers to be 100% satisfied, they came through. I spoke with customer service and they fully understood and refunded my entire purchase with no hassle. Thank you !! I will continue to be a customer with1aauto in the future. Please keep up the great work. Tom

The shock absorber kit that I ordered from 1A Auto worked like a charm. I had looked at other parts places but couldn't find anything that would fit until I checked out 1A Auto. I went for the more expensive struts and I ordered these arnott struts thinking they are better and I'm not happy with them, this suspension is terrible

All good. Much better ride. Struts arrived on time. One damaged box but strut was unscathed. Youtube install videos were helpful

These here will replace the magna-ride system. These are a specially designed gas shock and uses a special sensor to eliminate the suspension light code from showing on the dash. Yes it will work on your model but if you want the OEM Magna-ride shocks, you will have to go to GM as those are a patented item through GM.

Do these function like the electronic shock? It says it's direct replacement but includes error code eliminator sensors. Why are these needed?

These are gas shocks, so they will not function like the OEM electronic units. The bypass resistors are needed because there is not spot for the existing wiring to plug in. The resistors will make sure you do not have any error lights on the dash.

Why do I need a conversion kit why can I just replaced them with the original OEM strut.Also how will this conversion shock react when Im towing a trailer ?

This item is a passive conversion for models that originally came equipped with an automatic dampening (electronic) suspension. You are able to just replace with struts that match your OEM.

Please be advised, these will only be correct for models that had Autoride suspension from the factory, not the Magneride suspension. We would need your vehicle's 17-digit VIN to confirm the fitment of these parts, and determine if we carry the correct front and rear suspension components. Hi I have a 2007 Cadillac Escalade with the Z55 electronic ride suspension those this set up come with the covert ion module and can you stay with the OEM rear suspension or dose it need to be covered too??

Yes it comes with the module. It bolts on to the top of the shock once it's all in place and you hook up the wire harness to it. Worked great. Also you can keep the stock rear suspension with no issues at all. I replaced my front only.

No, these parts are not correct for vehicles with the Z95 MagneRide Suspension. Part number SCA33130 is correct for your vehicle.

Yes, this is a conversion kit so it will bypass the indicator sensors and will convert your vehicle from electronic suspension to standard suspension.
