Ordered the EGR valve for my sons Impala. Shipping was super fast. Installation was easy and the part fit exactly. Check engine light went away. Couldn't be happier.

I received and installed it and got new codes basically stating that there was not one hooked up. I then went out and spent over $100 on a brand new one and all my codes went away. Unfortunately I did not have the time to deal with the refund.

A1 let me keep part even though I asked to send it back.

so I ordered this part for my buick, I cleaned out the old part just incase, just to see if that took care of my check engine light. Well cleaning did the trick. I asked to return the part and A1 not only told me to just keep the part but refunded me back my money.. WHAT????? Companies don't do that, but A1 did. I am a customer for life. Great people.

Installing this part is very easy. Takes less than 10 minutes. The problem is that these cheaply made Chinese parts do not last. My EGR new part failed in less than 30 days. I got another code and my engine light is back on. Quite frankly, not sure if it is even worth trying to fix this. You are either stuck buying the OEM part which cost a bundle or buying junk which does not last.

It works great. The sticky EGR valve was causing the P0401 code to appear on a GM 3.8 that I was working on. After replacing the valve, I cleaned out the intake and exhaust tubes that connected to it and the code was cleared. Still working perfectly today and at about half the cost of the local parts store.

Arrived well packaged. Replacement lined up correctly and easy. I used the original gasket from the car. Better quality and thicker. The one that comes with it was metal and thin.

egr valve did not work. it was not compatible with the lesabre computer.

Bought it brand new. Didn't have a code until I put it in and it gave me a bad valve error code.

P0401 code with replacement EGR Valve

I changed the part thinking I would easily get rid of the P0401 code. The code is the only code I've been receiving all year. I figured because it was a new part it couldn't be the EGR valve. So, I've replaced the entire exhaust system and still receiving the P0401 code. Today, I unplugged the EGR and drove around and did not receive any codes, no check engine light, and the car ran great at low and high speeds. I plugged the EGR back up and the code re-appeared, it has to be this EGR.
