  1. step : Removing the Exhaust (0:31)
    • Raise and support the vehicle
    • Disconnect the O2 sensor wiring harnesses
    • Remove the O2 sensors from the exhaust with a 22mm wrench
    • Remove the four 14mm bolts from the exhaust
    • Allow the exhaust to hang
    • Loosen the two 13mm bolts from the exhaust cross brace
    • Remove one 13mm bolt from the exhaust cross brace
    • Pull the cross brace aside
    • Apply rust penetrant to the exhaust hangers
    • Pull off the exhaust hangers
    • Pull down the exhaust
  2. step : Removing the Driveshaft (2:54)
    • Mark the driveshaft and the flange with a marker in two places at each end
    • Remove the first two 18mm bolts that connect the driveshaft to the differential coupling
    • Put the transmission in neutral
    • Turn the driveshaft by hand
    • Remove the remaining 18mm bolt
    • Put the transmission in park
    • Remove the first two 18mm bolts that connect the driveshaft to the transmission coupling
    • Put the transmission in neutral
    • Turn the driveshaft by hand
    • Remove the remaining 18mm bolt
    • Put the transmission in park
    • Pry the driveshaft back with a pry bar
    • Remove the two 15mm bolts from the driveshaft support
    • Support the driveshaft with a jack
    • Pry the driveshaft off the transmission with a pry bar
    • Pry the driveshaft off the differential with a pry bar
    • Lower the jack
    • Remove the driveshaft
  3. step : Removing the Driveshaft Coupling (6:33)
    • Remove the three 18mm bolts from the driveshaft coupling
    • Pry the coupling off the driveshaft with a pry bar
  4. step : Installing the Driveshaft Coupling (8:34)
    • Line up the coupling with the driveshaft
    • Clean the driveshaft coupling bolts with brake cleaner and a wire brush
    • Start the 18mm bolts into the coupling
    • Apply thread locker to the bolts
    • Tighten the three 18mm bolts to 63 foot-pounds of torque
  5. step : Installing the Driveshaft (11:01)
    • Lift the driveshaft into place
    • Line up the bolt holes with the differential
    • Line up the bolt holes with the transmission
    • Put the driveshaft support into place
    • Start the two 15mm bolts into the driveshaft support by hand
    • Line up the driveshaft marks with the transmission marks
    • Line up the differential marks with the driveshaft marks by turning the differential flange
    • Clean the driveshaft bolts with brake cleaner
    • Start the 18mm bolts into the differential coupling
    • Put the transmission in neutral
    • Apply thread locker to the bolts
    • Tighten the 18mm bolts to 63 foot-pounds of torque
    • Start the 18mm bolts into the transmission coupling
    • Apply thread locker to the bolts
    • Tighten the 18mm bolts to 63 foot-pounds of torque
    • Tighten the two 15mm bolts on the driveshaft support to 37 foot-pounds
  6. step : Installing the Exhaust (14:41)
    • Hook the muffler onto the rear two exhaust hangers
    • Lift the exhaust into place
    • Put the exhaust cross brace into place
    • Start the exhaust cross brace bolt by hand
    • Attach the remaining exhaust hanger
    • Tighten the two 13mm bolts into the exhaust cross brace
    • Replace the exhaust gaskets if necessary
    • Line up the exhaust bolt holes
    • Start the four 14mm bolts into the exhaust flanges
    • Tighten the 14mm bolts to 16 foot-pounds
    • Put the O2 sensors into place
    • Use an O2 sensor socket to tighten the O2 sensors to 40 foot-pounds
    • Connect the O2 sensor wiring harnesses
