step : Remove the tailgate handle (0:24)

• Remove the bed liner with your T30 Torx Driver.
• Lift up the tailgate access panel and set it aside.
• Unclip the latch clips from the tail gate handle.
• Unbolt the two 8 mm bolts do remove the handle.

step : Install the new tail gate handle from 1A Auto. (1:38)

• Hit the pivoting components in the latch mechanism with white grease to prevent future damage to your new tail gate handle.
• Place the new handle into the tailgate and sandwich the tailgate between the latch mechanism and the handle.
• Secure everything together with your 10 mm nuts, socket and ratchet.
• Clip the latch rods to the mechanism.
• Replace the tail gate access panel, followed by the bed liner.
• Secure everything with your T30 Torx Driver.
