The handle was identical to OEM even in color. It fit well and looks nice. I hope it will last as long as the other or longer. Installation is tough but can be done without removing the window. In the removal steps use the new part as a reference tool to determine where the bolts and clips are located and how they function. Take the panel off then remove the clip that holds the lock assembly. Move the lock assembly out of the handle and push it out of the way to access the bolt above it. remove this bolt first and then the easy bolt on the side (jam area) of the door. at this point, I pulled the handle out of the door from the outside of the car (but I had to break the top piece of the handle to make it fit). Then notice how the door lever rod is attached to the handle and unsnap the plastic latch to free the rod. Installation: I would recommend trying to snap the lever rod in onto the new handle outside of the car as to get familiar with how it fits and the snap closes. I couldnt quite fit the new part back in from the outside with the lever rod attached so just put it in the door and then secure the handle with the side bolt before you try to reach inside and attach the lever rod. This was the hardest part of the whole thing for me. I managed to get both my hands inside there to reach the lever rod and plastic snap. They must align perfectly or the rod will not fit in the hole and the snap must fit around the rod so that it can secure it there. I had to use some pliers to bend the door metal back a bit to fit my second hand in there better. I also had to prop the inside handle open just a bit to help move the door lever rod down some as it was up too high to align with the hole in the handle. Once you get the rod attached then put the bolt in above the lock hole and then push the lock assembly in until the clip ring thing snaps around it to hold it in place. Put your door panel back on and celebrate. This took me close to 2 hours but I had to learn all these steps in the process. Now that I know what to do I could easily do it again in an hour. I felt confident doing business with 1A auto because the owners and employees make themselves known. On other auto parts sites all you know about the company is its name... Some dont even list an address or phone#.
