Instructions on this site say to remove the top hose and thermostat. The sensor is next to the thermostat, why do I need to remove the top hose and thermostat to replace the sensor only? cant I just drain the coolant below the coolant sensor, replace coolant sensor and refill?
Bill S September 8, 2017
Yes, you certainly may drain the coolant below the sensor, replace the sensor and refill. Our video removes the hose and thermostat to give a better visual for our viewers.
