Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
How to tell forged from stamped steel control arms? 97 Z-71 3 Door extended cab. Thanks, Kevin R.
Kelvin R November 22, 2015
The stamped steel CAs are made from 2 halves of steel and welded. These may have a "flange" around the perimeter. The forged is a 1 piece casted material with no signs of welding. I hope this helps. Worst case, a quick call to your local GM parts department and your VIN# can clarify what your model had from the factory.

Will this fit a 1999 k2500 8 lug with a 3 in lift??
J F May 7, 2019
These parts are built to the same specs of the OE parts and are meant to work only with the stock ride height.
