Do not remove both cables at the same time

step : Removing the Tailgate Cable (0:52)

• Remove the 1/2" bolt on the tailgate cable
• Remove the cable

step : Installing the Tailgate Cable (1:40)

• Insert the cable into place
• Tighten the bolt to the cable
• Repeat the process for the other side
