I searched the web and found these struts to be about 100.00 cheaper than other Sites. They look to be a good quality and the ride is as good as stock. Easy job with common hand tools.

The price on these units is very competitive and the customer service provided by 1A is top-notch. Installation was much easier than anticipated, requiring approximately an hour per side counting the replacement of the sway bar links along with the struts. One word of caution though. No matter how well the position of the original strut is marked, chances are good the front end will need to be aligned after installing the new units.

I have a Chevy Equinox and the front passenger strut broke on me, I ordered new struts from A-1 Auto, the ease of finding the right part at a fair price was awesome. The product was shipped and delivered with e-mail notifications and tracking so I knew where my parts were the entire time they were in transit. The parts arrived and I watched a video from A-1 Auto on instillation. I have never replaced struts before so this was a new adventure in automotive care for me. The video was clear and to the point easy to follow. A-1 Auto makes car repair easy as 1, 2, 3.

I did a great deal of comparison prior to purchasing this set of struts from 1A-Auto, I was told a variety of things by several different vendors, of course, I simply listen and then evaluate the situation but done of the other vendors even the ones that I could have a face to face with seemed concerned about getting the items I needed to me in a quick and professional manner, so when I called and spoke with the rep regarding a couple of questions they were on the ball had knowledge of the product and treated me as if I was the only other person on the planet. when I asked regarding the time frame and the rep said two days it was a done deal, as a competitor in my area would have taken 4 days to have the item shipped to the store, 1A- Auto provided a video of the installation, ensured I was kept up to date on the shipping notices and 45 mins both struts had been replaced. thank you for the professionalism within your service, you have gained a new customer>

I was "shocked" ordered on Monday, recieved the next day on Tuesday. Used 1a video for installation. Local garage wanted $800 + to do job. Did it myself for under $200!. I made $600 tax free, I am 69 year old man!

Removed old struts assembly and Installed new struts in 3 hours with no power tools. No more bumpy rides, had it for a month now so far no problem. I would recommend this product.

they look well built but i get a clunking noise when i go over multiple bumps and i don't understand why. there are no loose bolts and i cannot detect any looseness in the towers. i also replaced the control arms so there are new ball joints and bushings that aren't worn. the stab links and bushing are in good shape. i am totally baffled because the front end feels like it worn out along with the clunking noise. i am going to have to take it to a shop for inspection to find out what the problem is. i believe its the parts but can't say for sure! i am tired of working on it.

No additional hardware was required to install these struts. A pretty major alignment job was necessary on my pontiac torrent though... Not sure of the cause.
