I received the console repair kit in a mattter of days after I placed my order. The console repair kit came with very easy to follow instructions. I had the old console lid removed and the new one installed in less than 45 minutes. I couldn't be more pleased with the product and ease of installation. I highly recommend 1A Auto especially as a source for hard to find parts for older vehicles.

Fits my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 4WD perfectly. Easy to install, and black color matches interior. Lid opens and closes with a nice, tight fit. Only issue was that the metal rod had a very slight bow in it but was able to install.

I chose the black one to have some contrast here. The existing lid was stuck closed - I found a small piece of wood wedge in the latch mechanism. I spent over an hour trying to get the latch to release before almost giving up and just tearing it all apart. Finally took the entire console out (good YouTube videos on this) so I could see inside the latch area better. Using a small rod I was able to unlatch it and start the replacement. The new lid is of decent quality, a great value. Watching some videos helped with the install which went well. Very happy with the final look and - it works!
