Easy installation. Watch a YouTube video on what do do and it's s snap. Make sure you use the old gasket between the top of the strut and the car or it will rattle when driving

The first set of struts I received were defective. !A auto sent a replacement set very quickly. The new set are working as they should. I want to thank 1A Auto for being an upright company that reacts positively when a customer, like me, has a problem with a part. Will do business with 1A Auto again.....

I needed struts for my 2007 Cadillac DTS, and found these online. The price was great, and the shipping as free. Upon the suggestion of 1A, I also purchased sway bar links and bushings, for only $25.00 more. The transaction was seamless, the parts are great, and my car rides like it did when it was new. All that, and I saved $450 a $500 on the job. Not only would I recommend 1A to others, I already have.

The parts arrived in a timely manner. They seem to be fine on the car. A call for help with the installation to !Aauto wasn't very helpful. The person I talked to on the phone didn't seem to know much.

I have a 2006 Cadillac DTS I bought a pair of struts for this car from 1aauto. Shock spring rubs on the rubber top strut plate when turning the wheel makes extremely loud squeaking noise and can be felt thru the steering wheel. Extremely disappointed

Four specifically tuned suspension packages are offered. Lucerne CX is equipped with a standard FE-1 suspension, with 16-inch wheels. CXL models with the V-6 engine benefit from an F-41 suspension with a slightly firmer calibration, complemented by 17-inch wheels. CXL V-8 models also are equipped with 17-inch wheels, but with firmer damping and GM's magnetic assist steering system. The top-end Lucerne CXS features 18-inch wheels and adds Magnetic Ride Control - another first for Buick.Enter an answer to this question.

Hello Im not actually sure about a magnetic ride. I know my 2007 Buick lucerne had air ride on rear , I did locate an air hose on the rear shock. When I first turn the car on and started it I would hear the compressor sounding like its making Air. I went with the retrofit which does not take the air hose I took the air hose trimmed it and put a zip tie on it . I wasnt quite for sure if the air compressor actually work like it was supposed to or if it just came on and turned off that is the reason why I went with the retrofit it seemed easier. End it was a direct replacement for my ride I hope that helps

First, look in your owners manual. Then, I was told that if you have magnetic ride, there will be some electrical wires attached to the top of the strut. Mine did not have magnetic ride, and I am delighted with the struts I bought. Most shops around Panama City, FL wanted $800-$850, installed. I found a mobile mechanic who installed them for $30 each, so $250 for the entire job. Also, it was suggested that I get new sway bar links and bushings. Well worth the small additional expense.
