1A Auto is 5 star - but there is a product problem I can't solve

The first regulator I installed introduced too much slack in the cable when window was fully closed - this caused the cable to get outside the cable channel and it would bind and grind when I opened the window until about half way down when the cable returned to the channel. I called 1A Auto to see if they knew of an adjustment to the regulator to take up the cable slack - they did not know of any adjustment so they sent me another regulator at no cost and did not require the return of the first one. I removed the first regulator and installed the second regulator - same problem occurred - so I gave up and closed up the rear door panel and will let it be for now - I'm hoping that there is some kind of button sequence you go through to have the regulator learn travel limits = haven't found it yet though... 1A Auto tried there best to help with the matter but to no avail. I'd be interested to know if any other purchaser of this regulator had success in installing without the slack cab

Part Fitting - Concerned with #1AWRG02515

1. 1A Auto Customer Service was very helpful in helping me with the purchase of this part. They Guaranteed it would be a Direct Fit! The package arrived as stated in copy...I started removal of the DS Rear Door panel of my 1997 BMW 528i. After seeing the regulator to be removed, I see a big difference, where the old one had the motor mounted Separately and closer to the door hinges. 2. Called Cust. Service asking if the part was correct. CS went and asked a part specialist who stated that It's correct and a Direct Fit for the 1997 BMW 528i. I study the reasons I couldn't use this part and called back and asked for a refund. CS was most helpful, and they took care of the refund with in a day. My mistake was I should have looked inside the door first to relate to a photo of the part from 1A Auto. It is hard to explain what my removed part looks like vs. someone who has not replaced this part in a 1997 BMW.
