This Resistor Blower Motor is a new, aftermarket replacement part. It is just what you need to bring your heating and A/C blower system back to good working order! On most vehicles it is mounted to the HVAC unit inside the passenger compartment. It can be accessed from the passenger foot well area.

  1. step : Removing the Blower Motor Resistor (1:05)
    • Remove the duct panel clip with a flat blade screwdriver or pliers
    • Pull the duct panel out
    • Disconnect the blower motor resistor wiring harness
    • Disconnect the fan lead
    • Remove the 8mm bolts from the blower motor resistor
    • Pull out the blower motor resistor
  2. step : Installing the New Blower Motor Resistor (3:08)
    • Push the resistor into place with the snap facing the passenger compartment
    • Start the two 8mm bolts by hand
    • Tighten the 8mm bolts
    • Connect the fan lead
    • Connect the resistor wiring harness
    • Insert the duct panel clip into the duct panel
    • Slide the duct panel into place
    • Push in the clip
