Purchase went smoothly, product under evaluation
1AAuto was very responsive to my purchase and got the product out quickly. It even arrived a day early! As far as the Nakamoto brake products, I have only had them installed for about 4 days. Time will tell whether or not they are a quality product. So....Company....A+; Nakamoto product....jury is still out and will be for a while.

What tools do I need for a brake job. On a 07 Honda CR-V?
Brian F February 25, 2017
Well first off its just like any other brake job, calipers will need to come off in order to replace the pads, on my Crv I had trouble getting two of the calipers off, so I had to replace them. If you have no trouble with the calipers, you will just need a basic socket set, and a large C clamp, to back the caliper cyclender off. Its recommended that you also bleed the brake line and replace the fluid. If the fluid is clear no need to replace it. You tube has lots of great videos on both replacement pads, and replacing fluid. If you have done a brake job before this is the same as on domestic and most foreign cars and crossovers like the CRV. I recommend if you have never done this job before find someone to show you, or watch a lot of YouTube. I hope this helps, Good Luck, thanks

Brian: I completed the brake job on my 2007 cr-v in September or October of 2016. Youll need a lug wrench, a jack, jack stands, a heavy-gauge wire or something with which to suspend each caliper after removal (dont let them hang by the brake fluid lines), a couple of metric socket sets - one of which should have a breaker bar, penetrating oil like PB Blaster (brand probably doesnt matter), brake fluid suitable for your vehicle, a wooden or rubber mallet to break the rotors free, and some C-clamps to help push caliper pistons back in. I recall that I struggled with the positioning of brake pad clips. If possible, when you remove a caliper, snap a photo of it before you remove the pads so you can see how clips should go. When working on the front wheels, the steering wheel is your friend. Use it to angle the wheels to your advantage. A small turn of the steering wheel can make it much easier to work inside the wheel well. Best of luck, Brian. The project took me several hours in my driveway.
