Tacoma Towing Mirrors

Custom mirrors for my 2018 Tacoma. Good quality and easy to install. Love that the electric mirror adjustment controls work the same way when you pivot the mirrors to the vertical position. Much better than mirror extensions that vibrate like crazy. Definitely worth the investment.

I wanted to be ready to tow trailers on the fly with my 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road, but didn't want to have to keep clip-on towing mirrors in my truck. These address that need perfectly. Now all I need to do when I want to tow a wider trailer is flip my mirrors out. Shipping was faster than expected and the packaging was top notch. Installation instructions were included and they require taking off the door panels. I had to watch some YouTube videos to figure it out. The hardest part is disconnecting the electrical wiring harnesses for the window controls. The mirrors themselves are better than I would have expected for the price. The large flat primaries provide a nice, big view of what's behind the vehicle, and the convex mirrors provide good awareness of what's around it. I would have preferred larger convex mirrors. The convex mirrors aren't adjustable, but they're just barely big enough for tow mirrors and seem to always be in the right spot. I do notice some vibration go

Heavy duty towing mirror

I teplaced a set of clip on mirrors with these heavy duty towing mirrors on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma double cab. These mirrors are very sturdy and dont vibrate. They also fold back for storage. Only complaint is no turn signal LED.

Amazing quality. Fit just right. Took me an hour to install both. Dont need to fully remove the door cover, simple YouTube video helped for that. The actual mirror inside the housing shakes as you drive. It shakes more in the upright position. Its not horrible and really doesnt matter to me. I know what it means to have truck trailering mirrors. These mirrors feel like when you rent a 15 Uhaul truck and you have to be aware of where they are at all times. Heaters work perfect and all movements are effecient. Im gonna place a small round adjustable blind spot mirror just under the blind spot mirror already installed. I feel it will work well with parking spot lines and also the gap I cannot see between my truck and the new mirrors. They stick out about 2.5 times more then the stock mirrors. Happy mirroring

I got these mirrors for my 2017 Tacoma after losing 2 sets of clip-on mirrors on the highway. 1A beat Amazon on the price and faster free shipping, really nice. As for the mirrors, I like them a lot with one small exception. Everyone who says they get a bit of vibration in the glass, is right. It's not too bad and depends on the road surface but it's there.

Nice quality but quite shaky

Just installed my mirrors on a 2019 Tacoma access cab. They are nice quality but shake quite a bit on anything but a smooth road. I have searched but cannot find a easy fix other than shimming with some foam or rubber material

Only shake when in upward position, however I have a 7x16 Enclosed trailer and can see around it without putting mirrors in upward position . So for me they work fine and give me waaay better view with or without trailer and the smaller mirror in the corner works great as well .

I know they say they only fit to 2019 but I just had the dealership install them today on my 2021 Tacoma and they fit perfectly. The Mechanic and the Parts Manager both said Quality Parts and the Mechanic said they were the best aftermarket parts hes ever installed at theyre dealership. It only took him 30 min from removing the Stock Crap mirrors to installing these. Cant be happier. If you have a Tacoma from 2016-2021 they are A Must if you Tow.

Installed this on my 2020 Tacoma it will work on your Tacoma from 2016 - 21 so don't let them tell you it will not fit. Fast delivery. All parts were in tact. Very easy to install anyone can do it. Some vibration on mirrors but you can deal with it it's not that bad. Looks good on my truck. I pull a 29ft. travel trailer and the mirrors work great. I do recommend purchasing and putting these mirrors on.

The mirrors operate & look great on my 2020 Toyota Tacoma SR. The electrical controls work correctly & work correctly with the mirrors flipped out. I have not tested out the heater on the mirrors but I except that will work just fine. The only thing I'm not happy with is the mirrors vibrate and shake quite a bit while driving. I did read in other reviews that other people have the same issue. I could not find any other Trailer Towing Mirrors that work on a Tacoma. Replacing the mirrors was very easy after watching a U-tube video on how to do it. Very happy with the mirrors except for the shaking and vibration while driving.

Based on reviews, Took a chance and bought these for my 2021 Toyota Tacoma for camper towing. Had the guys at Leonard do install and they had them on in 30 minutes with no problems, Power & heat working. Yes there's some tolerable vibration. Only thing I'm not completely satisfied with is the fit at top corner leaves about an 1/8" gap I need to figure out how to close and seal. They're on sale now $239 with free shipping so a good deal!

Great product, easy to install on a 2019 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Crew Cab, just follow the directions or watch the youtube video. All connections are there. Mirrors measure 94" outside to outside and when extended measure 99", plenty of mirror to see around your trailer. Took 15 minutes to install the first one and 10 minutes to install the second. The very small gap at the top of the connection to the truck is easily filled with a black weather stripping caulk available from NAPA.

2 reasons I gave a 4 instead of a 5: (1) They are big!! Now have 2 forward blind spots. Need to be especially careful on turns, forward looking to left and right all the time, towing or not. (2) The plastic plate triangular area against door is bent/sticks out so water or air can get in on both sides. Crappy craftsmanship there. Believe it was mentioned in other review. So, have to caulk/seal that up. Good for towing, glad I got them overall. Vibration yes, but tolerable. Reduce the size and that vibration would probably be negligible. Way better than the strap on ones that I had.

2018 Tacoma Trail Ridge Towing Mirrors Swap Out

Great Product, direct replacement for factory mirrors and now I can see behind my trailer. This was an easy swap, plug and play. Took about 25-30 min per mirror. Only issue is as other reviewers have stated, the exterior trim piece on each mirror at the top, was not lying flush against the door frame, instead sticking out 1/8 to 1/4" from the door. I solved this by putting some clear exterior silicon RTV and clamping the trim piece down in in place with masking tape for a few hours. Looks good and you can't it at all. 2018 Tacoma SR5 Access cab

Yes they will work if you are getting the same ones that I did. There is no heating feature on the mirrors and the new mirrors fold in for tight spaces. They are pretty simple to install. The hardest part is getting the orginal mirrors off the truck. Take your time on the install to make sure that everything lines up. If you have trouble getting the bolts to line up with the holes on the truck, try starting the top bolt in its hole first, just slightly, then swing down to put the others in place. It will go in once things are lined up. Good luck!

I do not know. I have a 2017 Tacoma that they fit as advertized. The hard part was getting the orginal mirrors off. The question I would ask the parts person at a Toyota dealership is if the 2018 4-Runner and 2017 Tacoma share the same side mirrows. That should answer your question.

They fit perfectly on my 2020 Tacoma, so they should fit yours. Mine were heated, but I believe the wiring is the same. Youll have to figure out which wire would be used for heat and then add a switch. I did the same on a previous truck and it worked great. By the way, these mirrors make towing trailers, which I do a lot of, so much safer.

They bolted up to my 2020 just fine. The plug is likely the same for your mirrors as other Tacomas that do have the heat option. Yours just wouldnt have the wire for heat. Not 100% certain about the connector though, youd have to pull a mirror off and visually check your connector for differences. Or maybe theres a thread in a forum somewhere talking about it. I recently bought the chrome mirrors that have the turn signals, but my SR trim isnt wired for it. The plug was still the same and it connected and works just fine
