Please Note: Whenever replacing steering components, it is highly recommended to have a professional alignment performed on the vehicle afterwards.  Failure to do so may result in issues with steering and premature tire wear.

  1. step : Removing the Wheel (0:55)
    • Loosen the lug nuts with the vehicle on the ground
    • Raise the vehicle with a floor jack
    • Secure the vehicle on jack stands
    • Remove the lug nuts
    • Pull off the wheel
  2. step : Removing the Front Sway Bar Links (1:24)
    • Remove the upper 19mm nut securing the sway bar link
    • Clamp down the sway bar link with vice grips if needed
    • Repeat the process for the lower end
  3. step : Installing the Front Sway Bar Links (4:02)
    • Insert the bottom of the link into the sway bar
    • Tighten the 22mm nut to the bottom of the link
    • Torque the lower part to 95 foot-pounds
    • Repeat the process for the upper end
  4. step : Reattaching the Wheel (5:01)
    • Slide the wheel into place
    • Start the lug nuts by hand
    • Tighten the lug nuts preliminarily
    • Lower the vehicle to the ground
    • Tighten the lug nuts to 110 foot-pounds in a crossing or star pattern
