Short answer: weld. Longer answer: You (or a body shop technician) just cut and peel away the rusted portion of your old rocker panels and replace with the new panels. I bought this set and used almost all the passenger side panel and about half the driver side. It worked out really well and looks so much better now. YouTube videos would probably help explain more. Good luck

They slipped on they are glued or tack weld. But they r called slip on even though they dont slip
