Great Conversion Kit
This is everything the website said it would be. Makes tons more sense to put these on instead of the electronic set when you already have a high mileage vehicle.

Easy replacement shocks ... ride great
One of my OEM front shocks was leaking fluid and the dealer wanted $1,065 for a pair of replacement shocks (not even complete strut assemblies) for my 2007 Chevy Tahoe Z55 RPO. These are a great low-cost solution that work great. Look no farther, these are a super easy solution. Two struts for $285 is awesome. This is a super easy DIY swap out. Things to look out for: - the resistor that you need to splice into the wiring harness to defeat the auto damping error light is not the slickest solution ... but a couple of soldered on pigtails and splice connectors get the job done. - the strut is probably about 3/8" longer than the original, but that might just be because it hasnt been smooshed for 12 years. The top plate on the top of the strut is slightly different than the OEM one, but I dont think that it makes any difference. Overall ... perfect cheap, super inexpensive, and easy to install.

Struts and Brakes
Great price and easy instructions to follow. Highly recommend using 1A!

Good but not perfect
When I ordered it online, I thought that the electric part would be unplug and then plugin, all done. But turns out I must do the wire soldering and connecting, not rally a big problem to me, but small space made it harder.

Customer Q&A
Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
Are these monotone? What brand?
ZACHARY R February 2, 2018
We have a few different aftermarket companies build these parts specifically for us, as our 1A Auto house brand. They are manufactured to the same OEM specifications as the original part that came with your vehicle. If you have any further questions, please dont hesitate to ask.

Just to be sure, this is a replacement for the front of an 07 suburban with z55 suspension??
David M September 24, 2018
Yes I installed it on my 07 Escalade
Stuart S September 24, 2018
Worked great on an 07 Escalade. Same setup. I will say it was much better performance than the worn out ones. Isn’t as good a ride as new or fully electronic but for the price I would do it again

the purchase i made was for a 2011 cadillac escalade ext.
G A September 25, 2018
Ive read that escalade flex fuel models ride height is different, just wondering if these would work on mine and keep same ride hight?
Keith H October 31, 2018
Thanks for your inquiry. Flex Fuel models do not have a ride height difference. As long as the part is listed to fit your model then these will be correct!

The two bolts that came with these didnt have enough threads. Is that expected? I had to use the original bolts and nuts to secure these.
Sam S December 4, 2018
Funny the ones that came with mine were too long and different sizes. Used them anyway. The factory bolts and sleeve nuts are fine.
K I December 4, 2018
It must have been packaged wrong, we used the bolts that came with the struts and they worked fine.
Craig B December 4, 2018
They should have the correct threading on them. If you contact us directly we can help you with resolving this issue.
