  1. step : Removing the Radiator Shield (0:20)
    • Pop and secure the hood
    • Pry off the push clips from the shield
    • Remove the shield
  2. step : Draining the Coolant (2:13)
    • Raise and support the vehicle
    • Have a drain pan ready
    • Loosen the radiator drain plug with a pair of pliers
    • Reinstall the drain plug
  3. step : Disconnecting the Cooling Fan (3:48)
    • Unplug the A/C and radiator cooling fan's wiring harness
    • Press the tabs and release the wire from the fan bracket
    • Pop the clip out of the radiator bracket
  4. step : Removing the Battery (5:31)
    • Remove the 10mm negative battery terminal
    • Remove the 10mm positive battery terminal
    • Loosen the 10mm battery hold down bolts
    • Lift the battery hold down out without touching the terminals
    • Remove the plastic cover from the battery
    • Lift the battery up and out
  5. step : Removing the Radiator Support (7:50)
    • Disconnect the electrical connector from the fan
    • Unclip the connector from the fan
    • Pop the radiator hose out of the bracket
    • Pry off the radiator hose from the filler neck
    • Unbolt the two 10mm bolts from the filler neck
    • Remove the two T30 Torx bolts from the grille
    • Remove the 10mm bolt from the A/C condenser bracket
    • Remove the two 10mm bolts from the A/C top bracket
    • Remove the three 10mm bolts on each side of the radiator support ends
    • Remove the temp sensor wiring harness clips from the radiator support
    • Lift the radiator support out of the way
  6. step : Removing the Radiator (13:13)
    • Disconnect the electrical connector at the bottom of the radiator
    • Loosen the hose clamp on the radiator hose connected to the engine block
    • If the hose is stuck, break the seal with a pick
    • Loosen the hose clamp on the lower radiator hose
    • Disconnect the lower radiator hose
    • Lift the radiator and fans up and out of the car
    • Pour out any excess coolant from the radiator
  7. step : Removing the Cooling Fans (16:00)
    • Remove the 10mm bolts from the cooling fans
    • Lift the fan up and out of the radiator
    • Loosen the hose clamps on the hose
    • Remove the hose from the radiator
    • Pry out the quick disconnect with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Remove the radiator hose
    • Remove the quick disconnect carefully with a pry bar
    • Loosen the filler neck hose clamp
    • Remove the filler neck hose
    • Remove the temperature sensor with a 17mm wrench
  8. step : Installing the Cooling Fans (20:38)
    • Place the spring clip on the quick disconnect
    • Connect the quick disconnect
    • Clamp on the spring
    • Tighten the temperature sensor with a 17mm wrench
    • Connect the hose to the quick disconnect
    • Tighten the hose clamp
    • Connect the radiator hose
    • Tighten the hose clamp
    • Connect the filler neck
    • Tighten the hose clamp to the filler neck
    • Insert the fans into place
    • Tighten the 10mm bolts to the cooling fans
  9. step : Reinstalling the Radiator (23:25)
    • Insert the radiator down into place
    • Connect the lower radiator hose
    • Tighten the hose clamp
    • Connect the upper radiator hose
    • Tighten the hose clamp
    • Connect the temp sensor wiring harness
  10. step : Reinstalling the Radiator Support (26:06)
    • Insert the radiator support into place
    • Clip in the wiring harness bracket
    • Clip in the fan wiring harness
    • Connect the coolant overflow hose to the filler neck
    • Clip in the hose to the overflow bottle
    • Tighten the bolts to the overflow neck
    • Connect the wiring harness clips to the fan
    • Tighten the 10mm bolts to the upper radiator mounts
    • Tighten the 10mm bolts to the bushings
    • Tighten the T30 Torx bolts to the grille mount
    • Tighten the three 10mm bolts to either end of the radiator support
  11. step : Reinstalling the Radiator Shield (31:13)
    • Insert the radiator shield into place
    • Press the clips in to the radiator shield
  12. step : Reinstalling the Battery (32:19)
    • Place the battery cover on
    • Insert the battery into place
    • Hook in the battery hold down
    • Tighten the 10mm battery hold down bolts
    • Connect the positive terminal and tighten the 10mm bolt
    • Connect the negative terminal and tighten the 10mm bolt
  13. step : Refilling the Coolant (33:51)
    • Insert a funnel into the radiator
    • Fill the radiator with a 50/50 mix of the appropriate coolant
    • Squeeze the upper and lower radiator hoses to remove any air bubbles
    • Start the system and let air bubbles rise until the thermostat opens
    • Turn off the vehicle
    • Remove the funnel and excess coolant
