This motor assembly works fine so far, but there were a few problems. The unit is not an exact duplicate of the original Ford part. The shaft nut is larger than the original, so the old hardware that is supposed to transfer over to the new part no longer fits. The quality of the components are not as good as the original. The mounting bracket had to be bent and reshaped to fit properly onto the studs of the rear window. The motor is also louder than the original.

I received this product and it was super easy to install, I'm currently awaiting a new Ford Explorer rear wiper arm because my serrations are gone inside of the wiper arm. I was able to test this motor unit and it does operate like it should, hopefully I'll receive my wiper arm soon as I had to purchase it from Ford.
Easy fix, 20 minute job.

Does the job, easy repair. Hang on to all the old mounting hardware, doesn't come with the bolts for the interior and the new one comes with beefier nuts for the exterior, had to heat the plastic shroud that goes over the threads behind the wiper arm to get it to fit, but its honestly not important, it probably just holds water and causes corrosion anyway.

Yes it is the nut that holds it to the rear window is real tight but its made in such a way you can break it loose with out worrying about breaking the glass. To be honest I was worried, but its a job anyone can do with normal hand tools.
