  1. step : Removing the Wiper Arms (0:29)
    • Mark the position of the wiper blades on the windshield with a dry erase marker
    • Open the hood
    • Pry the cover off the wiper arm studs with a pick tool
    • Remove the 14mm nut from each wiper arm stud
    • Pull the wiper arms off the studs
  2. step : Removing the Wiper Cowl (2:20)
    • Remove the three push clips from each cowl bracket using a trim tool
    • Pop the cowl clips out of the frame with a trim tool
    • Pry the bracket off each side of the cowl with a trim tool
    • Pull the cowl off from under the hood
  3. step : Removing the Wiper Motor (4:34)
    • Make sure the car is off and the key is not in the ignition
    • Unplug the wiper motor electrical connector
    • Unclip the wiper motor wiring harness from its retainer
    • Remove the four 10mm bolts from the wiper transmission
    • Pull the wiper transmission off of the frame
  4. step : Indexing the Wiper Motor and Transmission (6:32)
    • If you are reusing the original motor, index it with the wiper transmission
    • Mark where the wiper motor aligns with the arrow on the wiper transmission arm, with a marker
  5. step : Removing the Wiper Motor from the Wiper Transmission (7:34)
    • Hold the wiper transmission arm with an adjustable wrench
    • Remove the 17mm nut from the wiper motor shaft
    • Remove the washer from the motor shaft with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Pry the wiper transmission off the motor shaft with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Remove the two 10mm bolts that hold the wiper motor to the transmission
    • Separate the motor from the transmission
  6. step : Installing the Wiper Motor to the Transmission (10:44)
    • Remove the two 10mm bolts from the new wiper transmission
    • Attach the wiper motor to the transmission
    • Install the two 10mm bolts into the wiper motor
    • Attach the transmission to the motor shaft, lining up any indexing marks from Step 4
    • Place the washer onto the motor shaft
    • Hold the wiper transmission arm with an adjustable wrench
    • Fasten the 17mm nut onto the motor shaft
  7. step : Installing the Wiper Transmission (14:20)
    • Line up the wiper transmission on the frame
    • Install the four 10mm bolts into the wiper transmission
    • Plug in the wiper motor electrical connector
    • Clip the wiper motor wiring harness to its retainer
    • Connect the wiper motor electrical connector
  8. step : Installing the Wiper Cowl (16:17)
    • Push any clips disconnected from the cowl back into the cowl
    • Line up the cowl on the frame
    • Push in the cowl clips
    • Slide each cowl bracket under the fender
    • Clip the cowl brackets onto the cowl
    • Push the three push pins into each cowl bracket
    • Clip the weatherstrip to the cowl
  9. step : Installing the Wiper Arms (18:51)
    • Line up each wiper arm with the windshield mark from Step 1
    • Slide the wiper arms onto their studs
    • Fasten the 14mm nuts onto the wiper arm studs
    • Torque the 14mm nuts to 14 foot-pounds
    • Clip the covers onto each wiper stud
  10. step : Testing the Wipers (20:31)
    • Close the hood
    • Turn the key to the on position
    • Test the wipers with the stalk on all settings
    • Check that the wiper path is correct
    • Turn the wipers off to test the park function
