Part Details

  • Quantity:   Pair

In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut
Pre-Assembled

Loaded strut & spring assemblies allow for a quicker, safer install than bare struts.  No spring compressor required!

Trouble-Free Install

Includes the matched parts needed. New components over reused parts provide a better ride and save you from having to repair again.

Matched Parts

Not all shocks and struts are manufactured the same.  Mixing and matching can result in ride quality issues and decrease the life of the parts.

Saves Time & Money

Over buying the parts individually, or having to search different parts that are correct for your vehicle (because we did it for you!)

Easy install and works great
The install went smooth. However, the 1A Auto video only shows the driver side. The passenger side is slightly different...must remove battery to reach the back bolt. Also, must press down on the rotor to get the bottom mount in place...helpful to have a helper.

CTS struts
Price was right and installation was easy. However, yesterday was -5F and they were very stiff. Considering how often Chicago experiences weather this cold they are still worth it.

Customer Q&A
Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
What brand are these? Do they perform just like AC Delco / Cadillac spec stuts/springs
Dan J September 16, 2017
We have a few different aftermarket companies build these parts specifically for us, as our 1A Auto house brand. They are manufactured to the same OEM specifications as the original part that came with your vehicle. If you have any further questions, please dont hesitate to ask.
Tim K September 18, 2017
I have a 05 CTS What is RPO code FE1. Is the soft ride suspension referring to the shock or is a controlled suspension this struts are for? Thank you
Joe F November 8, 2017
Hello, Thank you for contacting us. The RPO code FE1 refers to the soft ride suspension, and will fit your vehicle provided that you do not have electronic suspension. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you.
Andrew P November 9, 2017
are these monotube construction?
David C April 24, 2018
I dont have the exact measurements. Our parts are designed to be exact replacements for what came with the vehicle, so as long as your year, make, and model match up with our listing, these will definitely fit and function just like the original. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
