Easy install, makes hatch work easy and smooth. I had replaced the broken handles 3 or 4 times, still took two hands to squeeze handle to release hatch.. after replacing latch, one hand simply pops open.. of course 1A shipped fast.

Rear Hatch doesnt lock anymore!!

Not good For some reason when I go to lock it manually or with my fob, my Rear hatch doesnt lock. And I believe this model is just slightly different. Tried to reach out to you guys for help or suggestions Please Help!!
Want a tough lift gate handle that will NOT brake.

My lift gate handle has broken 3 times already since I have purchased the vehicle, I am considering fixing it once again. Is there a lift gate out there that will NOT break? If I purchase one from 1A Auto, it says the part is the original part from the manufacture, which I know in NOT strong, durable nor tough! Otherwise, I wouldn't have to replace it for the 4th time. Just asking ...

Installation was just as described in the associated video. The part seems very robust and likely to last for a long time. I was very happy with this purchase and I was relieved that I was able to get in there and install it without messing anything up.

Yes. The latch is very strong and we'll built. It is metal with some plastic components but the latch mechanism is solid metal.
