  1. step : Removing the Wheel (1:04)
    • Pry off the wheel cover with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Loosen the lug nut covers with a 22mm socket
    • Pry off the center cap with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Loosen the lug nuts with the vehicle on the ground
    • Raise the vehicle with a floor jack
    • Secure the vehicle on jack stands
    • Remove the lug nuts
    • Pull off the wheel
  2. step : Removing the Control Arm (1:24)
    • Use two 14mm wrenches to hold the back of the sway bar link
    • Remove the two 14mm nuts
    • Pull the sway bar link out
  3. step : Removing the Control Arm (2:50)
    • Loosen the nut from the lower ball joint with a 19mm wrench
    • Hit the spindle with a hammer to free the ball joint
    • Remove the 19mm front control arm bolts with a ratchet and pipe
    • Loosen the 19mm frame bolt with a pipe
    • Remove the 22mm lower control arm bolt
    • Remove the lower ball joint nut
    • Pry out the rear control arm with a pry bar
  4. step : Installing the New Control Arm (6:56)
    • Feed the rear bushing in first with the bolt to know the rear mount it lined up
    • Place the ball joint in the spindle
    • Place the 19mm nut on the ball joint
    • Reinstall the 19mm front control arm bolts preliminarily
    • Reinstall and tighten the 22mm lower control arm bolt
    • Torque the 19mm front bolts between 100 and 110 ft/lbs
    • Torque the 22mm lower control arm bolt to 130 ft/lbs
    • Tighten the 19mm ball joint nut
  5. step : Reinstalling the Sway Bar Link (9:31)
    • Place the sway bar link into the control arm
    • Tighten the 14mm bolts with two 14mm wrenches
  6. step : Reattaching the Wheel (10:28)
    • Slide the wheel into place
    • Start the lug nuts by hand
    • Tighten the lug nuts preliminarily
    • Lower the vehicle to the ground
    • Tighten the lug nuts with a 22mm socket
    • Tighten the lug nuts to between 100 ft/lbs in a crossing or star pattern
    • Reattach the wheel cover
