2001-05 Honda Civic Shock & Spring Assembly Pair - 1ASSP00130

In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut
Pre-Assembled

Loaded strut & spring assemblies allow for a quicker, safer install than bare struts.  No spring compressor required!

Trouble-Free Install

Includes the matched parts needed. New components over reused parts provide a better ride and save you from having to repair again.

Matched Parts

Not all shocks and struts are manufactured the same.  Mixing and matching can result in ride quality issues and decrease the life of the parts.

Saves Time & Money

Over buying the parts individually, or having to search different parts that are correct for your vehicle (because we did it for you!)

Good deal
I called and ordered over the phone and item came within the next few days. I installed the item as per the video. Very satisfied with purchase and quality of material. Would recommend and buy from them again.

Ordering and receiving went great. Installation was more difficult than the video.
I needed a second set of hands to crowbar the rear end assembly down to install the shock bottom bolt. Make sure to have both wheels off the ground with jack stands not supporting the rear end assembly so that it will flex down. Honda dealer wanted $900 for the pair. Huge difference in price and only time will tell on the quality. The new shocks are now squeaking and I presume that will go away?

Got what I paid for
The struts fit great and the ride is smooth. I only commute 10 miles a day so these should keep my 02 civic riding well until it dies!

Who was the manufacturer of these rear shock struts (2001-2005 civic)? Anything else I should know?
Phil S on Aug 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't recall the actual name of the manufacturer but these are pretty prevalent as a cheap Chinese made replacement strut. They would compete with Sensen but probably aren't as good of quality as Sensen. They fit well on my 2003 Civic and have performed well since I installed them roughly 2 1/2 years ago. If you're on a budget or you don't think you'll have the car for more than another 40K or 50K miles then I think they're a reasonable option.
