2003 Caravan window regulator
Regulator came nicely packaged and arrived quickly. My factory regulator broke where the window attaches to the regulator so I could not raise the window to detach the one remaining clip that holds it to the regulator. One thing that I would do differently would be not removing the window from the door. I would just tape the window in the full up position as one video on the net shows. Replacing the window is the hardest part of the job and that really isn't that hard if you have patience. The rest of the job isn't hard. Took me two and a half hours that included taking lunch. The thing that the videos don't show is how the window attaches to the regulator. You don't need to remove the clips from the new regulator. The window has pointy studs that snap into place. I didn't tighten up the regulator before snapping the window into place so the window would properly snap in. When I did tighten up everything I used the old marks that were left on the door by the factory regulator as reference marks. The window goes up and down properly without any adjusting. It's as quiet as the factory part.

Right Part on First Time
I have a 2003 Dodge Grand caravan. I had been to several different auto part stores and it was the wrong part everytime. Just one try with 1a autoparts no problems, service was great and the regulator works great. Easy install. They have my business!

A Perfect Fit!
New part recevied fit perfectly, which made installation quite easy. This impressed me immensely as compared to other on-line part suppliers say their parts fit, but usually require some added on-job modification! Great parts, excellent service 1A Auto...thank you!

My 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Window regulator
Received part quick. Definately a DIY job if you have the tools. Actually easy to install by mostly following utube videos. I found it 10 times easier just to unscrew the two top screws on the window tracks rather than just loosening the screws because the tracks would NOT push up high enough to remove from their mounts. With the screws out, the tracks collapsed inward and were out in minutes. SO FAR... (only installed for a week) works smooth. Great to have it fixed.

Replacing Window Regulator...
You would think this would be complex. The part certainly is complex, but installing it was a breeze! 1aauto had a youtube video explaining the installation, and it went in like a charm! Thanks so much!

Inexpensive, quickly shipped, no issues thus far
Had the driver's side window regulator motor go bad on my 2001 Dodge Caravan and needed a replacement. Found it here for the best price and received the part quickly after order. Everything needed was included and it worked right out of the box - no problems, and it's still working without issue a week afterward. Many thanks!

Thanks for the videos
Excellent power window. It would have been much harder to install without the video. Price was a few dollars cheaper elsewhere put I will gladly pay a few extra dollars if you keep making videos

Right part; everything fit; video helped
I would never have attempted this repair myself without the helpful video. It was still a bit of a chore but not complicated. There was a similar part for about 10 bucks less at a competitive online store but I went with 1A Auto because of the video. The other guys wanted to slap on an extra $5 for "warranty" at the check-out too. That just rubbed me the wrong way as well. So, fair price, great video, easy ordering, and good fit. All good.

Worked fine but....
about 45 days into using it, it just quit working. At first, it would stop while rolling window up then about a week after this started, it just stopped working at all.Was a great fit, a great deal, but I guess it missed in the quality department. Still looking for a way to fix the issue.

Can you just change the motor itself?
Joan N on Mar 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: First of all, you would have to have a new motor and I am not certain that one can be purchased separately. I am making an assumption that you want to change only the motor because you think it will be easier than changing the whole mechanism, even if you have to buy the whole mechanism just to get the motor. Changing the mechanism does involve some mechanical competence, but not that of a master mechanic. However, changing the motor in the very tight quarters where it's located in the door would also be very tricky. It happens that I saved the motor from mine and, just now, took it apart to see if it can be replaced. I made a video of my attempt. I would say it's virtually impossible while inside the door and very complicated outside the door. Search YouTube for "2003 Town & Country Window Mechanism - How to change the motor, NOT" (without quotes). In my case the cable was completely chewed up so just changing the motor was not an option.
