Works but dim

This switch works, but the lights are very dim at night compared to the rest of my dash lights. You cannot see what they r lighting up because they are too dim. But the yellow light for the headlights on is like a lighthouse in the car. Luckily most of the time the steering wheel is blocking the bright beacon.

I had problems with my light switch; it was holding my lights on after I shut them off. I called your service department to check on a replacement part. I explained to the gentleman what was happening, and he knew exactly what had happened and took my order for a new part. I received the part in just a few days and with the help of the video I was able to remove the old part and replace it with the exact same part. This corrected my problem, and I have the car back on the road

The switch went in well, once the decorative dash panel cover was pried away. The old switch had a mean habit of locking up if it was touched. This habit meant the headlights would stay ON, and the battery could discharge. No more driving! The new switch is fine, but I do not adjust the slides for fear of another lockup. Basically, all is well.

This headlight switch for our 2001 Buick LeSabre looks and functions just like the OE parts. Quality of manufacture, materials used, aesthetics, button and slider functions are all on par with an original GM switch assembly. The slide buttons on GM switches for Twilight and Interior light functions are inherently fragile and tend to break. The same goes for the aftermarket parts so dont be too rough on the sliders when moving them up and down.

My old headlight switch ran my battery down by holding my lights on. Before I put my new switch on , my car would start, but when I installed my new switch and charged up my battery my car wont start. It was ok before, why will it not start now?

After installing new hL switch, if working properly,I would be concerned about the condition of the battery. How old is the battery? Fully charged battery then load test for results. Make sure alternator is charging. Sounds like weak battery is the culprit. Good luck!
