stuts and sway bar link replacement 04 Odyssey
This a reasonable project for your average car owner with access to the right tools and a little strength to get the struts in and out. Parts from 1A Auto fit just right. Videos are why I purchased from them, very helpful and keep them coming! My Odyssey has 145,000 miles on it so it was ready for new, sway bar links were shot. Old struts were about a 1/2" shorter than the new ones. Restored the ride height of the vehicle and improved ride and handling. Don't expect a miracle improvement in either, but it is noticeably improved. I also replaced the rear shocks. That project is about as easy as it is going to get.

Strut assembly
I ordered front struts for my 2003 Honda Odyssey. The arrived in just two days. The price was great and the fit was perfect. I did view the installation video in advance. I also used the required tool list to ensure I had what I needed. I did encounter one wrinkle in that the nuts on my original assembly were not the size indicated in the video so it did require one extra trip to the store for a deep well socket. The struts were fairly easy to install even without a lift. The struts remedied the problems I was having. Additionally once I was into the job I realized I needed to replace the sway bars as well. I ordered them from 1AAuto as well. Installed them in about 30 minutes or so and the van rides great. I would recommend these parts as well as 1AAuto for your parts needs.

Buying the strut/spring assy is the way to go so you don't have to mess with taking the spring on and off. This strut/spring assy fit perfectly on my '02 Odyssey. My old struts were shot and making a lot of noise, but with the new assy's installed the front suspension is nice and quiet, and after I got it aligned the following day it rides like a new car. This was the first time I replaced front suspension parts, but this replacement really is as easy and straightforward as it looks on the How To video.
