I received my regulator with one side of it protruding through the shipping box. This was because the box was too small for the size of the item. As a result the large guide on the bottom of the regulator was knocked off and missing. I tried to use the guide off my old one which was a total bust, because it didn't fit the OE regulator. I then tried to swap out the motor only which also didn't work out. I ended up buying a replacement motor only from a large national supplier and everthing went together just fine. My advise guys over size the shipping box just a little and I'm sure my item would have arrived fully intact. Cheers

Product arrived promptly, appeared to be of good quality. However during installation I had some difficulty with the regulator's mounting bracket not being able to engage one of the retaining pins on the window carrying bracket. After several tries, I removed the entire regulator off the vehicle for inspection, and found that the cross bracket had a slight twist or bent. I used an adjustable wrench to twist in the opposite direction until it appeared straight. Proceeded with re-installation, and was successful. It has operated as required since then. Regardless of the initial malfunction, I would order this part again since quality and price are on point,

I watched the installation video on YouTube and then went out and grabbed the tools took the cover off the door removed the old regulator and installed the new in about forty five minutes. Excellent service!!

My front passenger window regulator had been replaced by previous owner but quit working a year after he installed it. I ordered a new one from A1 Auto. The price was right. After watching the removal and installation video provided by A1 Auto I felt at ease with my abilities to tackle the job myself. I compared the 2 products side by side I noticed the much better quality of the A1 Atuo regulator. 1 hour later the job was complete and the window moving much easier up and down and much quieter. A1 Atuo is A1!

See my review for the drivers side with installation tips and additional info. btw..if you are replacing the passenger side, might as well get the driver side now. Common failure item on WJs and both of mine went out within 3 weeks of each other.

Perfect fit. Make sure you look on the drivers door by the latch to look at the manufacturing date. This part is for Grand Cherokees manufactured BEFORE 3/2000.
