  1. step : Remove door panel. (0:55)
    • For more detailed instructions see our other videos.
  2. step : Remove Regulator (1:42)
    • Remove the door handle by removing the 10mm bolt.
    • Remove the plate with the 3 phillips screws.
    • Carefully remove the water shield.
    • Take care not to rip it, as it keeps water from getting into your door.
    • Plug your power windows back in and tape it up.
    • Lift up the window and tape it up out of the way.
    • Remove your power window harness.
    • Remove the bolts with your wrench or socket and ratchet.
    • Take out the motor and the regulator.
  3. step : Install the new regulator (4:35)
    • Attach the new motor to the regulator using the bolts that came with it.
    • Replace the regulator and motor back into their original positions.
    • Feed the harness back through.
    • Bolt the track back in.
    • Tighten the regulator bolts and your power window motor bolts.
  4. step : Test the regulator (6:00)
    • Test the to make sure the wiring is hooked up correctly.
    • Untape and bolt in the window.
    • Test again to make sure the window isn’t straining and everything works.
  5. step : Test the regulator (6:00)
    • Test the to make sure the wiring is hooked up correctly.
    • Untape and bolt in the window.
    • Test again to make sure the window isn’t straining and everything works.
  6. step : Re-assemble the door panel (7:13)
    • Replace the water shield.
    • Reassemble the door panel.

Good but definitely not perfect
This was not modeled directly after the oem part. It's a little more loosey goosey and not as robust. I don't recall, but it did not seem to align exactly (perhaps), but in frustration, I undid the new motor from the assembly and attached it to the old assembly. I was only able to align two out of the 3 wholes required, but it works fine for now.

If you can just get the motor, probably recommend doing that and using your old assembly. Happy with A1 overall though!
