Positive Mold Technology

Positive Mold Technology improves durability and performance by allowing for even wear. High density, low resin friction material virtually eliminates brake fade and glazing, generates less brake dust, and promotes a longer-lasting , better performing brake pad.

OE Grade Multi-Layer Shim

OE Grade Multi-Layer Shim helps reduce vibration and noise

Environmentally Compliant

Certified Environmentally Compliant to "Better Brake Law" standards

Thermal Scorched

Pre-burnishing or "Thermal Scorching" is the final curing step in quality ceramic brake pad manufacturing. The brake pad's surface is heated to remove any uncured bonding agents and to stabilize the friction material to accelerate the break-in process and enhance stopping performance from the first stop.

Zinc Coated

Zinc Coated to help reduce rust and corrosion for a longer-lasting and better looking rotor

"True" Non-Interference Vane Design

"True" Non-Interference Vane Design retains the structural integrity of the rotor

CNC Cross Drilled and Slotted

Precision-Rounded End Slots are machined to remove brake dust and expel gasses during hard braking

Cross Drilled Holes improve ventilation and cooling for less brake fade and more positive stopping power

  1. step : Removing the Wheel (0:48)
    • Remove the lug nut covers with a 7mm Allen Wrench
    • Insert the lug nut key into the locking lug nut
    • Loosen the lug nuts with the vehicle on the ground
    • Raise the vehicle with a floor jack
    • Secure the vehicle on jack stands
    • Remove the lug nuts
    • Pull off the wheel
    • If the wheel will not come off, thread one lug nut and use a pry bar to loosen the wheel
  2. step : Inspecting the Brakes (1:54)
    • Turn the rotor by hand or turn the steering wheel to turn the rotor
    • Check the thickness of the brake pads
    • Check the brake pad wear indicator
    • Check for gouges on both sides of the rotor
  3. step : Removing the Brake Pads (2:04)
    • Remove the two 13mm bolts from the brake caliper
    • Pry the brake pads into the caliper with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Pry the caliper off with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Pull the caliper aside
    • Pull off the brake pads by hand
  4. step : Removing the Brake Rotor (2:39)
    • Remove the two 8mm Allen bolts from the brake caliper bracket
    • Pull off the brake caliper bracket
    • Remove the Phillips head screw from the rotor
    • If the screw will not remove, drill it out
    • Pull the rotor off
  5. step : Preparing the New Brakes (3:17)
    • Put a large C-clamp on to the brake caliper
    • Apply pressure to the brake piston
    • Twist the piston in with slip joint pliers and adjust the C-clamp to maintain pressure
    • Clean the rotor with brake parts cleaner or mineral spirits
    • Clean the brake pad slides with a wire brush
    • Check the caliper slides for smooth movement
    • If the caliper slides do not move smoothly, clean them and apply grease
    • Apply grease to the caliper slides
    • Apply grease to the brake pad tabs
  6. step : Installing the New Brake Rotor (4:54)
    • Slide the rotor on
    • Insert the Phillips screw into the brake rotor
    • Put the bracket back into place
    • Start the two 8mm Allen bolts by hand
    • Tighten the bolts to 50 foot-pounds of torque
  7. step : Installing the New Brake Pads (5:42)
    • Install the new brake pads into the bracket
    • Put the caliper on
    • Thread the two 13mm bolts by hand
    • Tighten the two 13mm bolts
  8. step : Reattaching the Wheel (6:24)
    • Slide the wheel into place
    • Start the lug nuts by hand
    • Tighten the lug nuts preliminarily
    • Lower the vehicle to the ground
    • Tighten the lug nuts to 100 foot-pounds in a crossing or star pattern
    • Remove the lug nut key
    • Put on the lug nut caps
  9. step : Testing the Brakes (6:55)
    • Pump your brakes repeatedly until they feel firm
    • Test your brakes at 5 miles per hour and then 10 miles per hour
    • Road test the vehicle
