Arrived as described, installed in 30 minutes. I did need to reverse polarity of motor due to age of truck (only added 5 min. to install) This was my first time tackling this issue on my truck and my total deconstruct and install time was 1h 15 min. My only criticism is this- My order was shipped via UPS to my local post office, which then took 2 more days to deliver to my house. My preference would be to have the part earlier. USPS just is horrible in my area.

Window regulator

The part works well except that the actuator works in the opposite direction: up (down), down (up). The wire harnesses only work one way (green, blue, gray), so something was wired incorrectly. But I will live with it.

I have a 2004 Ford F150 4X4 SuperCab. First the window regulator in the drivers door stopped working. I ordered a new regulator from 1A Auto and installed it without any problem. Then of course, as luck would have it, the regulator the the rear passenger door also quit. I again ordered one from 1A Auto and again the installation went quick and easily. Ordering and customer support from 1A Auto was excellent. I will certainly order from 1 A Auto in the future if need be and have referred others to them as well

This is the second window regulator I had to purchase for this truck, first the passenger side went & now the drivers side. My old assembly on my driver's side squeaked and barely lifted without the moderate need to pull up on the window. Once I removed and replaced it with this unit the window worked perfectly. Ford made the installation process pretty easy and youtube simplified it even more. So far no issues two weeks later.

2005 Ford F-150 drivers window regulator 2nd replacement!

The unit was very well packed. Easy to install partly because it was the second time! Actually the instructions could use some help. It works great...and if this one fails...it has a lifetime warranty so it only more work. They are a goo company!

Replaced Junk

Had Purchased a regulator from another company that was only 4 months old and died. Cable had spun off the motor somehow and company was difficult to deal with so decided to try this. This unit actually had a warning and connectors that I may have to switch polarity to motor as different years were wired opposite. Works Great! (So Far) Of course the 5 minute U-Tube video took about 45 minutes to accomplish, but it was spot on!

Not really much else to say, great price, great fit. Item shipped quickly and I installed the first day it got here, and I haven't had any issues.

No Issues Installing

No issues installing the and it fixed the problem. Only reason it is not a 5 is the polarity had to be changed to align motor operation with the up and down arrow on window control. I would recommend this part and the video A1 has was straight forward and accurate.

It works good bolts right up no my truck but its different set up then my truck my truck had the motor separate and it had a universal handle or electric. So I took that motor off and then removed window and then removed the rest of window mount then replaced it with the product Im reviewing I had to cut the plug and hook it to the wires from when I removed the other motor and make sure you get the polarity right so it gos up and down the correct way and your good

Dissapointment

Im all set to replace the window regulator. Door panel off.. broken regulator removed.. then the fun begins. New one wont go in. Glass clamps are in topmost position getting in way for bolt holes to line up. Gotta plug it in uninstalled to move them down to middle of track. Not good idea when not installed but I do anyway. Plug adapter for 2004 is not in box to reverse armrest switch, now that is backwards. Maybe fell out during shipment as lightweight box it came in exploded in route and nobody taped it up. Idiots. Shipper and shipping company. Then, one of four mount points on regulator not lining up. Of course its bent. Remove unit and straighten. Then, as no new mounting bolts are included with new unit, I must use factory bolts from removed device. They fit somewhat loosely into new regulator threads. I continue forward having nothing better on hand. Ultimately, one bolt strips out creating a huge removal headache. Clearly, the positivity shared in this DIY auto care website bum

I would recommend A1 and the part I received. I wish I could only remember the lady in the parts departments name that assisted me...she was awesome. She listened to me explain how I had received two wrong parts from another company and she assured me I was getting the correct part. She was right and the little things in life like rolling down your driver's side window are make life better!

Perfect fit with no hassles

Brackets lined up perfectly. The only difference I could tell from oem is the motor plug wasn't on the motor itself. It was on a small cable from the motor. That being said, motor ran the correct direction but they included wire splicers just in case.

After reviewing the installation video from A1 Auto I ordered this for my truck. After opening the box everything was correct and undamaged. But there was a note inside saying that some model trucks have a reverse wires and you may have to cut the wires in order for the window motor to work correctly. It sure would been nice if they put that in the video or on the website when ordering this part. Instead starting the install the first thing you need to do is get some but splices to make this work correctly.

Be sure you check the 'vehicle fitment" tab before ordering. The motor was reverse polarized so without cutting and splicing plug leads to opposite sides, for my truck up is down and down is up.

Ordered a replacement front drivers side window regulator for my 2004 Ford F 150 Supercrew. Ordered it on a Monday and received it in a Friday morning. Took it out of the box and it was a tiny bit different but all of the attachment points were the same and lined up perfectly. I installed it myself and everything went perfect. Plugged the window up to the power and it worked like a champ. This was the 2nd window regulator that I purchased from A 1. I replaced my passenger side rear window a few years ago and that went smooth as well. I bought my truck brand new in 2004 and it has been an excellent vehicle and really no issues to speak of other than the couple window regulators I have replaced over time. I will keep ordering parts from A1 in the future for sure. The local Ford dealer wanted $260.00 for a OEM window regulator plus a couple hundred bucks to install it. I paid under a $100.00 and put it in myself and it works great.

Wiring was apparently reversed. When I press button for it to go up, it goes down. Press down it goes up. Stock connections only go together one way so I cannot reverse polarity. Problem is with the part not the truck.
