Perfect fit for my 2005 VW Passat

We've been trying to keep our old Passat running without putting a ton of money into it. So it was alarming when one of the windows disappeared into the door. Using A1's videos I was able to see how to take the door apart and it was immediately clear that the plastic clips holding the window had cracked after 15+ years. These new clips snapped into place and after a little bit of sweat equity putting things back together, the car was up and running for under $25. All and all a great experience.

Yes but you need to make sure they are exactly the same as you already have plus they usually need to be glued to the glass. I found it much easier to purchase the whole assembly( motor, regulator and clips.)

in the audi i installed them in they are to a cable that moves up and down. no scissor or arms. just a cable with roundish knub that fits into the clip.

Not exactly, these hold the window clamp that secures the window glass, then it clips onto the window regulator guide and cable at the small cable stop, which fits into a small keyhole carved into the side of guide.
