Part Details

Is the steering on you Ford Explorer or Mercury Mountaineer getting sloppy? Have you realized it's getting harder to keep your vehicle going in a straight line? If you've answered "yes" to either of these questions, it may be time for our steering linkage and suspension kit.

Components included as shown:

  • (2) - UPPER Control Arms with Ball Joints - LH (Driver Side) & RH (Passenger Side)
    • RH (Passenger Side) 1-Piece Control Arm can be used on vehicles that originally came with a 2-Piece Upper Control Arm
  • (2) - LOWER Ball Joints - LH (Driver Side) & RH (Passenger Side)
  • (2) - INNER Tie Rod Ends - LH (Driver Side) & RH (Passenger Side)
  • (2) - OUTER Tie Rod Ends - LH (Driver Side) & RH (Passenger Side)
  • (2) - FRONT Sway Bar Links - LH (Driver Side) & RH (Passenger Side)

NOTE: RH (Passenger Side) 1-Piece Upper Control Arm can be used on vehicles that originally came with a 2-Piece Upper Control Arm.

NOTE: The Lower Ball joints are redesigned and may look slightly different from the originals, although they will install and function correctly.

Remember whenever you are replacing any front end or steering components you should have your vehicle professionally aligned as soon as possible. When installed correctly and an alignment performed, the components in this kit can also reduce uneven tire wear and in some cases you may even see a slight improvement in gas mileage!
