The part I received was the wrong. Doorman had it list wrong on every site I searched. 1A Auto accepted the return without issue and said they would work to resolve the listing. Doorman was very defensive blaming it on GM. I was satisfied with how 1A Auto handled it.

I had to cut my original hoist in order to get my spare off. My new carrier went on in a matter of minutes and is much better than my original.

I pleased with the fit of the hoist and it fit well on my truck, which allowed me to remove the spare tire from the bed and attach it to hoist. The way it was meant to fit.

The spare tire hoist in my 20 year old work truck went out. I was getting new tires and asked the mechanic to see if he could get it unseized. No luck so he cut it off. After having the spare sliding around in the back for a couple of years, I got this replacement. Really is a 10 min job, 1 bolt job, and works perfectly.

Mine did not. Fortunately I don't throw much away. It would likely be in the jack accessory pack with the lug wrench.

This replacement hoist is different than my original. Mine have a locking jaw to secure it from falling. What keeps this one from unrolling?
