NOTE: For Audi A4 & VW Passat models, the belt fits the Fan, Alternator, Power Steering, & Tension Pulleys. For Mitsubishi Lancer models, the belt fits the AC Compressor & Power Steering Pulleys. For Toyota Supra models, the belt fits the Fan & Alternator Pulleys.

Wear and Tear

This item is backed by a 60-day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under its intended use. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Please keep your invoice for proof of this warranty.

  1. Removing the A/C Compressor Belt
    • Raise and secure the vehicle
    • Loosen the two 6mm Allen bolts in the tensioner
    • Push the tensioner up
    • Pull off the A/C compressor belt
  2. Removing the Serpentine Belt
    • Attach a 17mm wrench to the tensioner
    • Pull on the tensioner to loosen the belt
    • Pull the belt off
    • Remove the belt from underneath the vehicle
  3. Installing the New Serpentine Belt
    • Loop the belt onto the power steering pump
    • Feed the belt toward the top of the engine
    • Pull the belt around the crank pulley
    • Pull the belt in front of the tensioner
  4. Installing the New A/C Compressor Belt
    • Loop the belt around the crank pulley
    • Pull the belt around the A/C compressor
    • Pull the belt onto the tensioner
    • Attach a 17mm socket to the tensioner
    • Start tightening the 6mm Allen bolt
    • Turn the tensioner to tighten the belt with the 17mm socket
    • Release the tensioner
    • Tighten the two 6mm Allen bolts
  5. Routing the Serpentine Belt
    • Turn the tensioner with a 17mm wrench
    • Pull the serpentine belt on to the alternator
    • Release the tensioner
    • Check that the belt is routed correctly
