These panels simply fit over your existing rocker panels. They will have to be spot welded in place along the bottom inside door jam.

I had a professional body shop do it. They removed the old skins and put on the new rocker skins. Did it just in time. One more winter and I would have had to replace the whole rocker. The rockers that I got from A1 were of good quality. I have ordered other parts from them and I have no complaints. Note. I will not buy another GMC 1500, ext. cab pick up truck! In 7 years the rockers are rotting away!!!!!!!!!

These fit on the outside right under the doors , these did fit my 2002 silverado crew cab very well.

Yes. They are skins that fit over the existing rocker panels. They will have to be welded in place and then painted to match your vehicle.

Whoever answered Michelle H's question (Are these the inner rocker panels?) of May 17, 2016 either blew her question off or does not know that there are inner and outer rocker panels. Or the writer does nort know the difference between an inner and outer rocker panel. Michelle H may not know the difference between an inner or outer rocker panel or what they look like. But at least she asked the question. Bravo to Michelle H for seeking info.
