No, not the vertical panel under the truck. I took scrap metal and welded some pieces of that in for support. I was happy with these panels in my project.

It's possible it could work but to get the best results remove rusted areas the weld panels in place.

you can slip over and make look decent but they are intended to be welded in once the old rusty parts are cut off.

the rockers can slip over and screw down the top and underside,the corner shoud be cut out to fit better

How long are the rocker panels? Are they long enough for the entire cab or do i have to buy another piece because the description says its a rear rocker replacement

It starts at the back of the rear door and goes to the front wheel opening as I remember. I replaced cab corners also. Good fit.

Both rocker panels were long enough for my 1999 silverado 3 door. The section that goes on driver side behind driver door goes all the way around bottom. So the lower rocker on driver side needed to be cut shorter.
