In the event this item should fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use, we will exchange the part free of charge (excludes shipping charges) for the original purchaser. Please keep your invoice for proof of this warranty.

  1. Disconnecting the Battery
    • Disconnect the negative battery cable with an 8mm wrench
  2. Removing the Door Panel
    • Pry off the screw cover inside the door pull with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Remove the two Phillips head screws inside the door pull
    • Pry off the mirror base trim panel by hand
    • Disconnect the speaker wiring harness with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Pry off the reflector with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Remove the Phillips screw behind the reflector
    • Pry out the door panel with a door panel clip tool or a putty knife
    • Lift the door panel up and off
    • Disconnect the door lock wiring harness
    • Disconnect the window switch wiring harness
    • Disconnect the mirror switch wiring harness
    • Disconnect the trunk switch wiring harness
    • Carefully, peel back the water shield
  3. Replacing the Window Motor
    • Disconnect the window motor wiring lead
    • Remove the three 10mm bolts from the window motor
    • Pull off the window motor
  4. Installing the New Window Motor
    • Put the new window motor into place
    • Start the three 10mm bolts into the window motor
    • Tighten the three 10mm bolts
    • Connect the window motor wiring lead
  5. Reinstalling the Door Panel
    • Put the water shield back into place
    • Connect the door lock wiring harness
    • Connect the mirror switch wiring harness
    • Connect the window switch wiring harness
    • Connect the trunk switch wiring harness
    • Lift the door panel into place
    • Move the upholstery aside, if necessary
    • Push in the door panel clips
    • Insert the two Phillips screws inside the door pull
    • Insert the Phillips screw behind the reflector
    • Push the reflector into place
    • Press the screw cover into the door pull
    • Connect the speaker wiring harness
    • Push on the mirror base trim panel
  6. Reconnecting the Battery
    • Reconnect the negative battery cable with an 8mm wrench
