I ordered this part and hoped it would fit as I have an older vehicle. I was told the part would arrive in a week but it came in 3 days. It was in perfect shape and it was installed right away. I couldn't find this part other places so 1A Auto was a life saver!

Part fits....but hard to install

The part is exactly the same as the original but it is larger than the opening in the headliner. The weather stripping in the sun roof has to be taken off, then the headliner has to be pulled down far enough to slide the part between the headliner and the roof of the vehicle. It's tough to get in but it fits perfectly.

Fit my 2004 Lincoln Aviator perfectly! The old one was hanging by wires- all the clips broke. Installation was tight but fits snug and working great. Color also matches, can't even tell. Thank you!

No, the old one can be removed by removing the sun visor assist clip, loosen a pillar covers. Remove fasteners through same overhead consolele hole. The new bracket can be installed through same hole in headliner board.

No, I just took off both sunvisors and lowered the front of the headliner down a little to access everything.

No per disturbing the headliner. It is just a simple installation that I completed a while ago. I expected all sorts of complications but installation was simple. Make sure that you identify the sunroof or non-sunroof issue.

NOneed to remove headliner.. but be care if the bracket is broke mite be hard to get console off the bracket mine was broke.
