Great Price & Easy Install

No need to pay hundreds of dollars at the dealership. You only have to get over the fear that you are tearing apart your car door. Don't worry as it will go back together looking like nothing happened to it and you will be able to roll that window down again. 1AAuto has a You Tube video with step by step instructions. I replaced the passenger front window regular for my Jeep Liberty and will be ordering two for the backseat windows next. The only thing I would add to the instructions is to remember to remove the zip tie that was used for shipping. Otherwise your window won't roll down the whole way. Luckily I tested it before putting the door back together.

Not A Mechanic

I am not a mechanical person. I have viewed several of 1A-Auto videos and gained the confidence to make several repairs. My kids are in disbelief that I am fixing things on their cars. 1A-Auto is my first stop when looking to make a repair.

Fit but weak motor

The part did not fit perfectly but I do believe it will hold in place. Only one bolt not aligned the same as OEM part. The motor is very weak when rolling the window up. When installing the window regulator, the snap on plug on the side of the motor fell off. Once snapped back in place, it is barely hanging on. With all that said, if I had to buy again, I would buy the enhanced motor version for a few more dollars.

It installed easily. It is working great. I am withholding the fifth star until we see how long it last.

Jeep window regulator

The Jeep Liberty window regulator was a up grade and much better than the Jeep version. I watched the video which was a big help. And the new part came in three days. I got in my Jeep and it works great.

Install was fairly simple, though it seemed like a great deal of pressure had to be used on the plastic hose to ensure the motor was rotated correctly. This could be why Jeep used a different design in the 2006+ models. No issues thus far, although the motor is slightly louder than the other original motors in the car.

parts came on time, this window regulator was a perfect fit, took about a half hour to replace, It took more time to get the speaker out of the way. smooth working and no more snakes in the window( inside joke, cable looked like a snake when it came out the window before replacing unit).

this product is the only way to go. Originally, I was going to try and repair whatever part was broken to make my window work. But then I saw the entire regulator, motor and everything needed for a total replacement at this cost I bought the entire new part. It was a great decision. It is a very simple installation. Plug and play more or less. They fit and work perfectly. I replaced one on the front and one on the back window. It was very easy.

Part works but...

The part fit and it worked fine, BUT it was wired backwards. Down was up and up was down. Oh well.

Motor wired wrong and not smooth operation.

I received my part, installed it but the motor is wired backwards. When you push down the window goes up and when you push up the window goes down. Also, the operation is not smooth a bit clanky.

Up is downdown is up. Unsafe with 1-touch

This was easy to install and the quality seems great. Unfortunately this motor appears to have been reverse wired. So now I have to push up for down and down for up. This poses a bit of a danger because the auto down feature is now an auto upfeature that has no way to stop if somebody gets stuck in the window!
