In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the power window switch on this 2005 Volkswagen Jetta. It's the same part and similar process on these Jettas from 2005 to 2010. The only item you'll need for this is a flat blade screwdriver.

Start off by prying up the front of the switch panel, and then pull it forward. Then just put the tab on this harness and disconnect it. Then pry up on the blue clip on this harness and pull the harness free. Now you want to just pry out on the tabs around the switch while applying pressure to the top of the switch. It will pull free.

Take your new switch and push it into place, and reconnect the two harnesses. Then push your switch panel back into place until it clicks in.
