I have a 2007 chev 2500hd duramax. It was actually fairly easy to change out. On my truck there is only 2 bolts to remove located on the right side upper part of the motor. Had to remove the air intake hose. Disconnected the wires then removed the bolts and pulled the whole thing out filter and all. If the filter is old go ahead and put a new on the primer mount and reverse what you did taking it off. Reprise the vehicle and should be good to go

Definitely was on mine. Would sputter and die at an idle shortly after start up. After priming the fuel filter, it would start right back up. Noticed some fuel pooling on top near the primer. I thought maybe the gasket gave out. Replaced with this part and no problem since.

can you tell me how to check to see if there is a injector stuck open on a 2005 gmc sierra 2500 hd 6.6 liter?
