I ordered the above parts and am very impressed with how tight my steering feels now. I have 262000 miles on my checy truck and it rides like new. Glad I bought the control arms instead of just replacing the ball joints, the bushings on my old control arms are dry and rotted and with these new control arms they came with not just the ball joints but also new bushings, so I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

They fit nice, alignment was easy afterwards, no problems so far, my OEM lower control arms lasted 15 years. Hopefully Ill get another 15 years with 1aauto parts too.....maybe longer? Give um a try, nice price..,,,thank you 1aauto parts. REPEAT CUSTOMER, says something......

Can the ball joint be replaced later on or is it riveted?

It appears the ball joints are riveted, however you may replace them later on if chosen to. These are also backed by a limited lifetime warranty in the event of failure during intended use while you own the vehicle.

Can you replace these 2wd control arms with 4x4 control arms? ( Can I install these to install coils) and delete the torsion bar setup?

These arms will only work on the application they are specifically made for. These will not work on a 4x4 application.

Is it most likely the lower control arm? That im hearing a knocking sound on bump and when im turning, it feel like metal to metal are touching one another.
