You know what your dog's favorite part of your car is? It must be the front passenger seat, right? He's always trying to get up there and see what's going on and distract you while you're trying to drive. Or maybe it's the exterior – don't think of those as scratches, so much as claw-hugs. No, it must be the tires. He did "claim" them after all. Sorry pal, three guesses and you missed it. Your dog's favorite thing about your car is the windows. He just loves to stick his head out in the breeze and feel it blow his ears back and fill up his lips, and let the slobber rain down on any poor shmoe behind you (and if you’re the poor shmoe behind some proud St. Bernard owner, you'd best roll your windows up, and turn your wipers on). Dogs pretty much live for that stuff. When you say the word car and they go berserk and start to run laps around your living room, that's all they’re thinking about. Man, can you imagine how much dogs would love it if they could ride motorcycles?
So roll that back window down. If you don't, he’s just gonna make dog-booger Jackson Pollacks all over them. Wait! But not too far, or you'll become a Marley and Me re-enactor rolling down the street at 2 mph with a dog half out of your car. To get it just right, you're going to need your window regulators, your window motors and your window switches (or cranks if you roll old school) to all be in working order. So do man's best friend a little favor and get those windows working right.
Just Stay Cool, Man.
I'm sure Mom won't mind that her mother's day gift is a little late. Just keep it cool. She knows you're her biggest fan. Now, what are you going to get her? I know! How about a new cooling fan? It's perfect. Nothing says "thanks for giving me life" quite like a cooler engine. Want some more ideas? How about some of these new parts:
