Great Pair of Mirrors

The mirrors only took five days to arrive at my home. The first mirror took me an hour to install, the second mirror took about 40 minutes. They fit and work perfect. If you haul a long trailer, I would recommend a set of these mirrors.

Nearly perfect

I've had a chance to use these during a trip recently. I can now see clearly down both sides of my 8' wide travel trailer in the extended position. The lower, manually adjustable, convex mirrors allow a great view. A car easily viewable along side my Expedition is still viewable in the lower mirror. Others have noted vibration or shake. I do notice more vibration than the stock mirrors, but it's barely noticeable and does not affect the functionality at all. I only gave 4 out of 5 stars since the passenger side mirror is not a wide angle view mirror (objects in mirror are closer than they appear) as the F-150 mirrors are. I purchased the Ford part for the F-150 passenger side heated glass and it's a near perfect fit. The glass is slightly rotated without trimming the mounting tabs. Overall these are fantastic if you tow with your Expedition. Worth every penny. One note, for my 2011 I needed to use the adapter harnesses that come with the mirrors.

Larger Tow Mirrors are a must!

My Ford Excursion already had tow mirrors so when I bought my 15 Ford Expedition I found myself hating the factory mirrors pulling trailers. These Trail Riding tow mirrors are great! Great OEM quality, excellent installation instructions. 1a Auto was great to work with. I called the order in and their sales rep was a pleasure to deal with. Ordered my mirrors Wednesday and received them Friday. Just in time to pick up my new 37ft travel trailer on Saturday. Definitely would buy from again. Thanks!!!

Perfect fit, easy to install

Arrived quickly. Took 5 minutes to connect the wires as instructed, took 30 minutes per mirror to install and everything works perfectly. Haven't had the opportunity to tow my 33' travel trailer yet, but am looking forward to soon.

Mirrors installed quickly and plugged into the factory plugs with no problem. They ride good going down the road and look just like the mirrors on my 2012 F-250. I would have given 5 out of 5 if they had the power fold option.

These mirrors took me about 1 hour to install .and seem to be very well built. Alot of reviews I read said they vibrated a bit but these vibrate to me no worse than the stock ones did even driving around on rutted canadian winter roads. Just wish they would be available in a power fold option.

These work for 2017 Expedition XLT

Ford does not make tow mirrors for the 2017 Expedition so when I read on one of the forums that these mirrors fit I was encouraged and ordered a pair. Be sure to only order mirrors with the features you currently have; dont order power extension if your current vehicle doesnt have it. Took my wife and I (after 40 years we work well together) about two hours to get them on. Biggest chore was getting the door panels back on. No one has a good detailed video of how to install the mirrors on the 2017. Trail Ridge does have a pretty good instruction sheet on how to hook up those two extra wires. Now that the mirrors are on they seem to perform well. The bottom mirror is already my friend. At least I can now see down the sides of the trailer and Im not changing lanes blindly. Ill wait till I get them on the road for a couple hundred miles to make a final verdict. Good luck!

Needed some tow style mirrors for our 16 expedition, found these and installed them! Wow I can see everything behind me ??! Didnt have to mess with wiring plug and play fit minus the 2 wires you have to install following instructions! Install took about an hour!

Added these mirror on my "new to me" Expedition before our camping trip. Had looked at several clip on towing mirrors, but decided on the bolt on mirrors. They were relatively easy to install and offer great visibility, similar to the mirrors on my super duty. The passenger mirror is not the convex glass in all passenger cars, so it may take some getting used to if you don't regularly drive a truck with towing mirrors, gives a clear view of the rear of the trailer. Also one review had said the lower blind spot mirrors do not adjust up & down. This is true, but not a deal breaker. I can see everything below the rear door handles and out to either side. I would give 5 stars, but the driver side mirror slides out on its own from a closed position while driving. Not sure if it is a manufacturing defect or what, just need to bump back in occasionally.

These were very easy to install and as a towing mirror they are a huge improvement over the normal mirrors even with add on mirrors. The only negative is that there is a bit of an elephant ears look to the truck with them. They are also a LOT bigger than the standard mirrors which makes parking in tight places a bit of a challenge. I would really really love to see a power fold option with these. Also note that they will fit 15-17 model year vehicles NOT just the 15. These were installed on a 17.

Perfect fit, easy to read instructions and easy to install. They do not vibrate as others have commented, which tells me that they did not install them correctly. They are a HUGE improvement of the original factory mirrors, great, wide views when towing a large RV. Definitely would recommend buying the mirrors and especially from 1A-Auto.

it seems to me that when I ordered mine they offered two sets, my expedition only had puddle lights and were electric but I think they had another set that was wired for turn signals 1aauto should be able to tell you, and by the way, mine work excellent

Looks like they should. The RH Power/Heated mirror number for the 2014 and 2016 stock mirrors are the same (CL1Z-17682-AA) per Ford Parts Giant. Contacting Trail Ridge would be the surest way to know.
