Great--except for the headlights

Headlights aim low compared to the OEM version. connector for low-beam is not compatible with LED or HID conversions. This would have been nice to know prior to purchase that this is NOT an exact replica of the connectors from the original car

I originally ordered a set of lights from a different company which arrived broken. Based on how they were packed, I didn't feel comfortable reordering from the same place. The lights I ordered from 1A where packed up with twice the amount of padding, and arrived in perfect condition. The fit was spot on, and the lights make the car look years newer. I'm really happy with the purchase, and will definitely use 1A again!

Excellent Build Quality and Value

My review starts 3 weeks before actually buying this set of headlights, when I made the mistake of purchasing a different set from CARiD. I purchased that set for $300 and they turned out to be defective! After CARiD gave me such a hard time about returning them, I decided to get this pair from 1Aauto for only $200. I was blown away by the quality - from the packaging to the actual headlight, these headlights are almost identical to the original equipment for about 1/3 the cost. They fit fantastically and look great too. Adjustment is fairly easy too.

Headlight replacement for s 2011 Subaru

I bought my 16 year old daughter a 2011 Subaru Outback for her first car and we noticed the headlight lense covers had been very fogged over by years in the sun. We tried the quick fixes but the fog always returned. I finally ordered a replacement pair from 1AAuto at a very good price and received them promptly. After watching one of their online videos, we installed them with very little trouble and they fit perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised all the bulbs were included and already installed. It really looks like a new car now and the lights ate shining brightly down the road to keep her safe!

Broken Brackets

Shipping was prompt, and headlights fit well. The only problem was the bracket that extends from the front of the housing and screws to the frame was broken off on both headlights. I was still able to install them, but the front of the headlight sits proud of the body by about 1/4". The absolute hassle of needing to remove the bumper to access the screws to replace these housings prevented me from requesting a return, as I didn't notice the brackets were broken off until the front of the car was already dismantled. If you buy these, open the box to make sure they're intact before you start the install. It'll be worth it.

I found this kit to be a great factory replacement when installed. Put in around 140k mile and is currently at 190k miles. Still project great with no fading or yellowing 1A Auto has been my go to for my 2011 Subaru Outback Limited and will continue to be as I want to see this car hit the 300k+ mileage!

I also purchased the bulb kit for $79. I guess Im puzzled because when I called your company I was told the bulbs that came with each assembly were only test bulbs so the installer could see the assembly was working. When I had them installed I was told there was no such thing as test bulbs. Please explain. Did I not need to spend an extra $79 that I really didnt have? The reviews on you site say yes and no. The headlights are great! The confusion on the bulbs, not so great.

Not good.

Not good. Have had a hard time seeing on dim since these were installed. Cranked as high as possible, the driver side lower than the driver side. I get flashed by other drivers because they bulbs so low that it appears to some that my lights are not on.

Headlight assemblies for 2012 Outback

Easily replaced the old headlight assemblies in my 2012 Outback. It was plug and play. The fun part was all of the plastic fasteners, not really, that held the bumper in place. The light assembly came with bulbs, but I chose to replace all of them with name brand LL bulbs from Amazon. I would recommend these headlight assemblies for anyone that has faded or sun damaged assemblies. Money well spent!

Headlights fit well and looked good on my son's 2011 Subaru Outback. Subaru engineering requires you to pull the front plastic fascia off to access everything which takes some extra time. My son and my son in law were able to complete the job in about 1 1/2 hours.

New light bulbs are not included. Occasionally, manufacturers leave test bulbs in the lights. If you receive test bulbs, you'll want to replace them with your original bulbs or with new bulbs.

The back should be a silver colored wheel with looks like teeth facing the light. You should be able to fit a Philips screw driver and adjust it. YouTube has video on it
