Window Regulator Assy

My nephew slammed the door hard and the window "fell" down in the door....oh no! Not his fault, but I was thinking a $200.00-$300.00 repair incl. labor. Instead, I decided to try 1AAuto and found, ordered and received the part quickly...no hassle. The website also had clear directions AND a video to show how to do the repair myself. I was only worried about breaking some plastic clips or some obscure connector trying to remove the door panel. Utilizing the awesome video, I did it myself, and it was a breeze. Not an exact replacement but close enough. Just needed to swap a few bolts and it fell right in. It's only been a week, but so far no complaints. And the price was incredible compared to factory

This is the 2nd window regulator I purchased from A1 for my 03 Grand Cherokee that had both original rear window regulators fail. This model has been been very easy to install. I have had no issues with it working. A1 stands behind all of their products.

Fixed my window which was making noise, but not going up or down

My window on my door wasn't going up or down, but I could hear a motor or something in there trying to go up and down. A clip which attaches to big metal piece broke. I ordered a replacement from 1A Auto because all of their parts seem to be quality from my past experiences, and their videos have saved me multiple times. I don't like working on cars, but when I do I use 1A Auto videos if they have them for specific fixes I work on, or I buy their parts too if I need a quality decent priced one. Great part!

This product is of excellent quality and also very easy to install. The video you provide in your web site was excellent. I do recommend this product. I was very please with the funcionality. In my opinion is better than the original part.

I've ordered 3 of these over the years for different cars. Easy install and direct fit. This one comes with window clips and 3 motor mount bolts, but does not have 3 track bolts. The wire harness is at least stock length so there was no issue hooking it up. Read some reviews of other budget brands having to short a cord. Not the case here. Had plenty of slack to connect door/lock rods and set the panel. Only 4 starts because I haven't used these (yet) on my own rig, so I don't know the longevity, but no one ive replaced for has complained about failure

Watched the 1a Auto video and did it myself. The cable broke on the old unit and the window slid down into door. This replacement unit went in perfectly and has been fine for about a year now. Actually I need to get another one because I had another window just break. Saved about $400 by doing it myself. Takes about an hour if you take your time and take care of the moisture barrier carefully. Clean it and duct tape any tears.

This part did the job on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Not too difficult to install. Great saving if you compare with the mopar parts. My only complaint is the packaging. The box arrived half opened. Also buy some panel retainers because you are going to brake some.

As far as the fit and functioning goes this regulator is perfect. The only problem that I have is that its louder than the OEM regulator was. Thats the reason for 4 stars.

I received this unit ready to install when I had a question about its movement, I was told it can only move when connected to the door switch It made sense and I attached it without problems I wish that the YouTube had been clearer in the explanation and the video gave a better view I trust the owners will take this into consideration in future videos The videos are a huge guide Thank you for the excellent support

It was exactly what I needed for my '01 Jeep GC. Works well and quiet while moving. I just wish they had a metal slide arm, like the oem, instead of plastic.

I bought the front passenger regulator years ago from 1A, so when the rear driver side regulator broke I knew exactly where to go. I added extra grease on the rails to ensure long life (I did this to the first one I ordered as well). The rail comes pre-greased but just a small amount.

The window lift installed fine. The motor is responsive. However, the wiring is in reverse-I now must turn the switch down to raise the window and turn the switch up to lower the window. Inconvenient! Also, the part that holds the window is a bit wobbly, making me wonder when the window will catch at an angle and break again.
