It seems that wires are up front for fog lights. If I add factory fog lights, will replacing this will it make for lights work?

My Jeep has factory built-in fog lights. To operate I pull the end of the knob on this combo switch outwards. It's an odd design because you must push it back in to turn them off. Turning the headlight switch won't automatically shut off all lights. Not sure if this helps your situation. While this switch fixed my problem, a blinker that would not stop, it's not as good as OEM. I have blinded a few trucks trying to let them pass with a toggle of the high beams which it's not sensitive enough to do. you have to engage the high beams then disengage. Basically, you can't flash them. Compared to the cost of the OEM version, I can live with it.

Yes, but you still need to have a certified JEEP shop reset the code. You can put in the switch, but the fog lamps will not com eon until the code is reset. I had a dealer want to charge me $145. to reset code. I found a local garage the charged me $25. Good luck.

This is specific for vehicles that have models WITH Fog Lamps and fits models WITHOUT Automatic Headlights.

Yes and no. Yes it will turn them on and off. the no part is you have to have your computer programmed to make the lights work. The cost is about $100 to $150.

Keep doesnt have fog lights but the wiring is there. If put lights in and new switch with fog light will they work ?

Yes that sounds just like my Jeep. I installed the lights, but figured out the factory switch wouldn't turn them on and off and I needed a switch with a fog lights option.
